A flock of sheep is grazing near a close-up of pink blossom flowers with buds that are forming on the branches of apple trees on the outskirts of Sopore, District Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, India, on April 14, 2024. The government is installing yellow poles to mark and measure orchards for developmental and road widening purposes. A railway line has also been proposed in Reshipora, Shopian, through apple orchards, which could affect thousands of families.
