The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayuso, and the president of the Parido Popular, Pablo Casado, are on their visit to Fitur on the third day of the 42nd edition of the International Tourism Fair, Fitur 2022, at Ifema Madrid on 21 January, 2022 in Madrid, Spain. The objective of Fitur 2022, the second year it is held after the outbreak of Covid-19, is to relaunch tourism as an engine of development as well as to defend the coexistence of tourism with the pandemic. Organized by IMadrid, the fair will bring together 6,933 participants from January 19 to January 23. It is attended by all the autonomous communities, companies and destinations from 107 countries, 70 of them with official international representation, headed by the Dominican Republic, which this year participates as a Fitur 2022 Partner Country.
