Police are investigating a homicide in Newark, New Jersey, United States, on December 25, 2023. They are currently at the scene where a shooting occurred on Clinton Avenue around 1:30 p.m. A vehicle is on fire near a gas station, and inside the vehicle, authorities have found a male victim who has been shot multiple times. The victim has been pronounced dead at the hospital. Witnesses are reporting that the incident is due to an exchange of gunfire between two vehicles, which resulted in one of the cars crashing and catching fire. Authorities are actively seeking one suspect, including the other vehicle involved in the incident.
