Following the flash floods and landslides that strike Solok Regency, the three villages become isolated due to blocked road access, hampering the distribution of logistics and aid to the affected areas. Data from the Junjung Sirih District Head records 60 houses and buildings damaged in Paninggahan, 50 houses in Muaro Pingai, and 30 houses in Saniangbaka.
