On February 10, 2026, in Yeongdeok, South Korea, the wind turbines, scorched black by the wildfire, stand amid the surrounding forest now being felled in the aftermath of destruction at the wind turbine complex in Yeongdeok, South Korea. On March 25, 2025, a wildfire ignites in Goesan-ri, Anpyeong-myeon, Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Burning for five days, it sweeps through four cities, devastating 994.9 square kilometers of forest and destroying 4,458 homes. The disaster results in 28 deaths and 32 injuries. Although a year has passed since the fire is fully extinguished, the enormity of the affected area makes recovery progress slow.

The Larvae Act As Leaf Folders/rollers, Creating Silk-lined Shelters That Cause Severe Defoliation, Scorching Effects, And Can Kill Plants In Nursery Or Garden Settings. The Adults Are A Deep Green Colour, With A Crenulated Brown Line Around The Edges Of Each Wing. The Male Parotis Marginata Possesses Coremata, Which Are Tufts Of Hair-like Scales, Typically Black Or Brown, Located At The End Of The Abdomen, Looking Like A Stretchable Broom.
