A Peel Regional Police mobile command vehicle parks across the street outside the house where a 70-year-old woman is killed in the early hours on August 5, 2025, in Brampton, Canada, after a fight between neighbors breaks out. Two men are taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and one man is arrested and charged by Peel Regional Police with second-degree murder. Several neighbors report that the accused was arrested earlier in the week for animal abuse, and they believe the Tuesday morning attack at 12:30 am is retaliation against the woman who reported the abuse.
