Monastery in Staniatki village, located about 20 km east of Krakow was founded in 1210 and is the oldest monastery of Benedictine Nuns in Poland. Nuns had appeal through a public co-funding for financial help to renovate and rebuild the external buildings as a museum, a library and study rooms.
