A simultaneous interpreter is working during the EJA conference at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Krakow, Poland, on January 22, 2023. The conference, organized by the European Jewish Association, is taking place in connection with the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. This year's theme is 'Never Again: Lip Service or Deep Commitment?' with a focus on the issue of anti-Semitism, which the association notes has been on the rise since October 7 due to the conflict in Palestine. On the following day, delegations are scheduled to visit the Auschwitz Concentration Camp and participate in a memorial ceremony.
