LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM - JANUARY 18, 2023: A staff member holds Pensa-Suhr, New York, 1988, a solid-body electric guitar, MK-1, estimate: £6,000-8,000 which was used at the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute concert on 11 June 1988 at Wembley Stadium during a photocall at Christie's auction house showcasing the highlights from the personal collection of Mark Knopfler, frontman of the iconic British band, Dire Straits, in London, United Kingdom on January 18, 2023. The guitars will be offered at an auction on January 31 and 25% of the total hammer price will be donated to The British Red Cross, Tusk and Brave Hearts of the North East charities, which Mark Knopfler has supported for many years.
