On August 24, Vice President Yadav and his Vietnamese counterpart hold delegation-level bilateral talks in Kathmandu. During her stay, Vice President Xuan also pays separate courtesy calls on President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The visit carries special significance as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Vietnam.
