GUIYANG, CHINA - MAY 21, 2023 - A static load test is carried out on the Jinfeng Wujiang Bridge in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, China, on the afternoon of May 21, 2023. In this load test, 48 35-ton trucks with a total weight of 1680 tons were used to check and evaluate whether the quality and working performance of the bridge were in conformity with the design. The Jinfeng Wujiang Bridge is 1473.5 meters in length, and the main bridge is 650 meters of single span simply supported steel truss girder suspension bridge. It is the first ultra-wide lane steel truss girder suspension bridge constructed by prefabricated parallel steel cable strands in Guizhou Province.
