Women read the names of all women killed in 2025 by men. To date, 140 women are killed by men. Protesters demand more resources from the French government to protect women threatened or beaten by their partner or a man in the family. They say that 65% of killed women come to the police to make a complaint, but police classify the complaints. They also ask the police to have better training to pay attention to these complaints. A French governmental body says that EUR1bn per year is necessary to tackle violence against women.
