In Krakow, Poland, on January 19, 2026, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, holds a press conference following a meeting with the Romanian Minister of Defense via VTC at the headquarters of the Special Forces Component Command. The Minister of National Defense states that neither Poland nor Romania plans to send soldiers to Ukraine and will remain responsible for providing logistical support for allied forces on their own territory.
