On May 30, 2025, the Taco Fair 2025 takes place on the Alameda del Sur in the Coyoacan district of Mexico City, offering visitors a variety of tacos with traditional dishes, including crocodile, wild boar, tarantula, and scorpion, among others. According to the definition by Larousse Cocina, a taco is a snack prepared with a corn or wheat flour tortilla, filled with some food and folded or rolled. It is eaten alone or accompanied by salsa. It is the most consumed snack in Mexico. Its name is generally related to its filling, its texture, or the way it is prepared or presented for sale.
