Yahya Akhzeiq, 27 years old, connects a mobile phone to a charger as he sits in a converted Israeli military vehicle abandoned by the Israeli army and now used by the mainly displaced Palestinian communities as a charging point for mobile phones and laptops in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, in the southern part of Gaza City, on November 29, 2025. Brothers Yahya and Akram Akhzeiq set up a charging point using solar-energy panels placed on the exterior of the vehicle's hull, which sits under the concrete of a destroyed building.
