A Visitor come to the BSTC (Bajulmati Sea Turtle Conservation) turtle conservation center on Bajulmati beach, Malang, East Java province, Indonesia, on August 20, 2022. As of August 2022, the BSCT conservation group has released 517 olive ridley sea turtle and 477 turtle eggs confiscated by the illegal trade waiting to hatch. The IUCN world conservation agency has listed the olive ridley sea turtle as endangered. Due to the threat of destruction of marine habitats and illegal trade. The BSCT turtle conservation group is managed independently by the local fishing community which was established in 2009. Previously, local fishermen still caught turtles and sold turtle eggs for the black market. Fishermen began to realize and create conservation groups. For educational purposes, educational tours and campaigns for the preservation of marine habitats.
