People pass in front of the National Access Cannabis office ready to be open in Edmonton, a unique Health Care service provider that specializes in prescribing medical cannabis, and provides members with ongoing education and care. Less then 8 weeks remain until the legalization of recreational marijuana use in Canada. July 2018 was the initial legalisation date, however, provinces and territories, who are responsible for drafting their own rules regarding marijuana sales, have asked for an additional 8 to 12 weeks after the Senate approval to transition to the new framework. When formal approval is given, it will be possible to carry and share up to 30 grams of legal marijuana in public. On Saturday, August 25, 2018, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
