The sun shines through "Woman, Life, Freedom," a sculpture by artist Mitra Mortazavi Lore, on display at a rally against the Islamic regime in Iran. Thousands of people from across the eastern half of the United States attended the event at the Lincoln Memorial, on the anniversary of the 1979 revolution. Demonstrators called on the Iranian diaspora to unite to topple the regime and demanded world leaders do more to isolate the current government.
