The Whirlpool Aero Car in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, on June 12, 2024, is transporting passengers over a section of the Niagara River referred to as the Niagara Whirlpool. The Whirlpool Aero Car is being suspended 200 ft above the water and is offering views of the swirling whirlpool and the Class 6 whitewater rapids. The system is being designed by Spanish engineer Leonardo Torres Quevedo and has been upgraded several times since 1916.
