Thousands of protesters at the seafront of Thessaloniki holding Greek flags and banners marching during the protests. Multiple protests with thousands of demonstrators participating took place in Thessaloniki city. The demonstration was against the mandatory COVID-19 vaccination measure of the public healthcare workers, doctors, teachers to fight the pandemic as from September 1, 2021 unvaccinated government employees in the health sector will be suspended. Thousands of protesters arrived from northern Greece which marched in the city center for hours, following speeches. Among the protesters Christian Orthodox priests, nationalists and healthcare workers were spotted. Thessaloniki, Greece on August 29, 2021
