A municipal police van blocks the portal of the building where the EMVS (Municipal Housing and Land Company of Madrid) house is located where the eviction is to be carried out, the PAH activists have tried to negotiate with the property without obtaining result. Elizabet, a single mother, and hers lived in the house with three children, two of them minors, in which she had lived for 11 years and the EMVS refused to regularize. Pictures from the wider area of Mati and Neos Voutsas in eastern Attica near Athens after the fire. The fire that took place on 23 of July 2018 was one of the worsts in the century. The death count has been raised to 88 victims. Many people are still missing and the research is still going on. The area is still without electricity.
