To keep the sand moist and maintain the inside temperature and humidity, farmers need to sprinkle water on betel leaf regularly, at least four times a day in the summer and twice a week in winter. The disadvantage of greenhouse farming is the lack of pollination due to the enclosed structure and over-expenses.
