CANCUN, MEXICO - DECEMBER 1, 2023: Participants of the World AIDS Day March receives a free HIV test at the end of march, on December 1st, 2023, in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Over 200 participants from different NGO's, joined by State and city authorities, observed World AIDS Day with a march in downtown Cancun, from El Crucero Park toward Benito Juarez City Hall. Post-march, officials stressed HIV/AIDS prevention, providing free testing at City Hall. Quintana Roo's Health Secretary disclosed 965 cases detected this year as of week 46 (November 14-20), with ongoing investigations.
