In Warsaw, Poland, on December 19, Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, meets with Wlodzimierz Czarzasty, Speaker of the Sejm and Chairman of the New Left, at the Sejm as part of his visit to Poland. During the visit, President Zelensky meets for the first time with Karol Nawrocki, President of Poland, at his invitation. The Ukrainian president then visits the Polish parliament to meet with the Speakers of the Sejm and the Senate, where he also lays flowers at a memorial plaque commemorating members of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland who were killed during World War II. The visit concludes with a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
