Red chillies are woven and hung out in the air to dry in Khokana, Nepal, on August 3, 2025. The ancient town of Khokana has the tradition of weaving the red chillies and hanging them in the air to dry, which paints the town red. This practice is claimed to increase the longevity of the produce as well as preserve the seed for further cultivation.
