In front of the Prefecture, a protester reads a tract about migrants and their battle to obtain papers. Dozens of thousands of people take to the streets in Toulouse, France, on September 10, 2025, against Macron's economic policies after a day called 'Bloquons tout' (Block everything). In Toulouse, as in other towns, the movement 'Bloquons tout' launches at the beginning of the summer on social networks. It launches against Macron's policies: downsizing the welfare state to cut taxes for businesses, increasing the Defense budget and Interior Ministry, and his choice of conservative Sebastien Lecornu as the new Prime Minister. His pro-business stance angers French people who blockade everywhere in France on September 10. Riot police receive orders to be without any tolerance towards blockades and use volleys of tear gas canisters. After blockading, people come to protest and scuffle with riot police.

A cardboard sign reads 'Liberty, Equality...and papers'. The collective RESF (Reseau Education Sans Frontieres, or 'Education Network Without Borders'), along with trade unions (CGT and SUD) and the Human Rights League, organizes a gathering in front of the Prefecture of Occitania in Toulouse, France, on February 12, 2025, to alert passers-by and the Prefet about the difficult situation of children whose parents have no papers. They state that French laws make school mandatory regardless of the child's situation, as does the CEDH (European Convention of Human Rights). They collect signatures to present petitions to the Prefet, asking for these children to stay in France.
