She aims to break the Guinness World Record for the longest hair on a living person (female), currently held by Aliia Nasyrova with a hair length of 257.33 cm (8 ft 5.3 in). Renu Dhariwal set a record in 2023 with a hair length of 265.17 cm (8 ft 7 in) for the longest hair in India. Her name is also recorded in the India Book of Records (in 2020 with a hair length of 95 inches), India Star Book of World Records (on June 20, 2023), and the Uttarakhand Book of Records (on December 19, 2020). She has received numerous awards, including the Uttarakhand Icon Award in 2021 for her impressive hair length. Renu currently shares hair and beauty tips on her two YouTube channels, MRDLonghairUttarakhand and M.R.DVlogsUttrakhand, where she provides advice and secrets, including how to make her chemical-free homemade hair oil and shampoo. Both channels have over 100,000 subscribers each.
