The Turin King List, also known as the Turin Royal Canon, is an ancient Egyptian hieratic papyrus dated to Ramesses II's reign (1290 a.C. - 1224 a. C). The papyrus is the most complete list available of kings compiled by the ancient Egyptians. Now is a series of small fragments after the disgregation during the transport in Italy made by Drovetti after the discovery in Luxor. The restoration began on June 20,2022 and is nearing completion. The reconstruction was curated by Dr. Susanne Toepfer, head of the Papyrus Collection of the Egyptian Museum with Dr. Myriam Krutzsch, papyrus restorer of the Ägyptisches Museum und Papyrussammlung der staatlichen Museen zu Berlin with the advice of Dr. Kim Ryholt, Egyptologist of the University of Copenhagen is one of the most important papyrus experts who commuted between Copenhagen and Turin.
