Police are present at the crime scene. A 33-year-old male is being killed in a shooting in Passaic, New Jersey, United States, on August 11, 2024. Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Department Chief Luis Guzman are announcing that Sunday morning, at approximately 3:25 a.m., Passaic Police Officers are being dispatched to the area of 224/226 6th Street in Passaic following a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival, officers are finding the victim, a 33-year-old male from Passaic, with a gunshot wound to his chest. The victim is being transported to St. Mary’s Hospital where he is being pronounced dead.
