The Gazania Flower, Also Known As The Treasure Flower Or African Daisy, Is A South African Annual That Thrives In Hot, Dry Summers And Full Sun. Part Of The Daisy Family (Asteraceae), It Produces Large, Daisy-like Composite Flowerheads In Shades Of Yellow And Orange, Over A Long Period In Summer. A Unique Trait Is That They Open In Sunlight And Close When It's Cloudy Or At Night. They Are Often Planted As Drought-tolerant Groundcover.
