Two innocent bystanders, an 11-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man, are injured during a shooting on Elton Avenue in Melrose, Bronx, New York, United States, on May 13, 2025. Two men allegedly approach a group of men, gunfire breaks out, and the men then flee on CitiBikes. The child and man, inside a moving vehicle, are injured during the gunfire. The man is shot in the shoulder, and the boy is injured by glass. Both victims are treated at Lincoln Hospital. The vehicle is driven to the area of Courtlandt Avenue and East 150th Street, where it is damaged by a bullet, with a bullet hole and shattered glass visible.
