Anniversary Of The Battle Of Puebla In Mexico

Inhabitants of the Concepcion Coatipac Community in the municipality of Calimaya, State of Mexico, are rooting for more than 50 years the tradition of participating in the representation of the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. On May 5, 2023, the locals are characterized with French military uniforms as well as the blanket dress of the Mexican Zacapoaxtlas Indians, in memory of the Mexican triumph of this military feat led by General Ignacio Zaragoza.
