Corpus Christi Ceremony In Lisbon
Catholic devotees are wearing clothes of their respective confraternities as they perform the liturgy during the Mass before the Corpus Christi procession, which is going through several streets of Lisbon on June 6th, 2023. Corpus Christi Day is a national religious feast celebrated 60 days after Easter, on the Thursday following the first Sunday after Pentecost. On this day, the Church is celebrating the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
