US-Mexico Border Construction On Secondary Fence Advances In Tijuana And San Diego

A Chinese tourist is dressing in traditional Mexican costume at the site of the US-Mexico border construction in Playas de Tijuana, Mexico, on Friday, June 9, 2023, as 30-foot fence panels have been installed, as construction has removed most of the temporary fencing at the San Diego-Tijuana Friendship Park area where it was halted back in 2019 due to litigation and numerous environmental concerns raised by advocates.
