Daily Life In Toro

View of the Clock Tower from the Plaza Mayor, a tower located in the walled area of Toro in the province of Zamora, in the autonomous community of Castilla y Leon (Spain). Construction began in 1719 during the reign of Philip V, and it was completed nineteen years later. The design is attributed to Joaquin Churriguera. It is located above the old Market Gate (from the 15th century) that surrounded the first walled area of the city of Toro in the province of Zamora (Photo by Joaquin Gomez Sastre/NurPhoto)
