Dismantling Mykola Shchors monument in Kyiv
KYIV, UKRAINE - DECEMBER 9, 2023 - Workers remove the monument to Bolshevik military commander Mykola Shchors from its pedestal, Kyiv, capital of Ukraine. It took seven hours to remove the 7-ton monument which will be stored in a museum. Mykola Shchors was a Red Army commander who fought against the newly established Ukrainian government of the Ukrainian Peoples Republic in 1918-1919.NO USE RUSSIA. NO USE BELARUS.
