Jewish groups hold menorah lighting to call for a ceasefire in Gaza
Jewish organizations hold a Chanukah menorah lighting event in front of the White House to call for a ceasefire and Palestinian freedom while President Joe Biden hosts a celebration inside. Biden has steadfastly refused to call for a ceasefire despite the fact that Israeli has killed nearly 18,000 Palestinians since October 7, 2023, in its retaliatory bombing campaign. The overwhelming majority of those killed are innocent civilians. (Photo by Allison Bailey/NurPhoto)
