President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is speaking prior to his morning press conference at the National Palace in Mexico City, where he is providing details about the Internet of Wellbeing program, which will benefit communities with difficult access to the internet in the country. He is also addressing the upcoming inauguration of the Campeche-Cancun section of the Maya Train, scheduled for this Friday, December 15 of this year. Additionally, he is discussing the direct appointment of the new minister of the Supreme Court of Justice, following the Senate of the Republic's rejection of the second shortlist that the federal Executive had sent to that chamber, after two rounds of voting in which none of the three candidates achieved the necessary qualified majority.
