President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador of Mexico is giving details during a morning press conference at the National Palace in Mexico City about the inauguration of the Campeche-Cancun section of the Mayan Train, which is taking place on Friday, December 15 of this year. He is also discussing the upcoming direct appointment of the new minister of the Supreme Court of Justice, following the Senate of the Republic's rejection of the second shortlist that the federal Executive had sent to that chamber of Congress, after two rounds of voting in which none of the three candidates achieved the necessary qualified majority.
