This photograph taken in the Parisian cemetery of Ivry-sur-Seine, in the near suburbs of Paris, on February 21, 2016, shows an Armenian officer laying a wreath in front of the monument in honour of Missak Manouchian and the 22 Armenian resistants of his group who were executed on 21 February 1944 by the Germans at Mont Valerien in Suresnes. The transfer of the remains of Missak Manouchian and his wife Melinee to the Pantheon in February 2023 was formalized by the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron on June 18, 2023, during the commemoration of the Appeal of General de Gaulle.
