This photograph taken in the Parisian cemetery of Ivry-sur-Seine, in the near suburbs of Paris, on February 21, 2016, shows French militant of Armenian descent Arsene Tchakarian, the last survivor of the World War II Missak Manouchian French resistant group, during a ceremony in honour of Missak Manouchian and the 22 Armenian resistants of his group who were executed on 21 February 1944 by the Germans at Mont Valerien in Suresnes. Arsene Tchakarian died on 2018. The transfer of the remains of Missak Manouchian and his wife Melinee to the Pantheon in February 2023 was formalized by the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron on June 18, 2023, during the commemoration of the Appeal of General de Gaulle.
