Memorial Ceremony On The Occasion Of International Holocaust Remembrance Day At Auschwitz-Birkenau

In Oswiecim, Poland, on January 23, 2023, Amichai Chikli, the Minister of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism of the State of Israel, is attending the Memorial Ceremony and reciting the Kaddish prayer at Birkenau Camp during the EJA conference. The European Jewish Association organized a conference in Krakow on January 22-23 in observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, titled 'Never Again: Lip Service or Deep Commitment?' The conference is focusing on the issue of anti-Semitism, which the association notes has been on the rise since October 7 due to the conflict in Palestine.
