Fat Thursday In Ruvo Di Puglia
Preparations for the calzone di Ruvo are underway inside the bakery oven in the historic center of Ruvo di Puglia on the occasion of Maundy Thursday, February 8, 2024. On this day, marking the first event of Carnival, the Pro Loco of Ruvo di Puglia, with the support of the Municipality, is organizing the feast of the calzone di Ruvo. This long calzone, typical of the area, is being prepared by local restaurateurs and is being carried, almost in a procession, from a well-known bakery to Menotti Garibaldi Square, where it will be tasted.
