Hindu Naga Baba Arrives In Pashupatinath Ahead Of Maha Shivaratri

Naga Babas, known as Naked Hindu saints, are chanting ''Har Har Mahadev'' as they march towards the Pashupatinath Temple complex in Kathmandu, Nepal, ahead of Maha Shivaratri on March 6, 2024. Hundreds of Hindu Saints from Nepal and India are gathering at the Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for the festival of Shivaratri. This event, which celebrates the Night of Lord Shiva, believed to be the destroyer of the universe in Hinduism, is observed with great pomp and fervor in South Asia.
