National Day Of Strikes And Protest In Public Education Sector

Nearly 6,000 people are demonstrating in Toulouse, France, on April 2, 2024, in a joint protest with all unions, including CGT, SUD, SNES, UNSA, and others, against what the French Prime Minister has termed the 'shock of knowledges,' 'level groups,' and the idea of mandatory uniforms up to university level. The unions are striking and protesting for better wages and demanding an end to what they describe as the breaking of the public education service, as well as calling for more resources and teachers.
