A Chicago police officer is investigating the crime scene where a 38-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on April 24, 2024. On Wednesday evening, at approximately 10:30 p.m., on the 4800 block of W. Congress Pkwy, police officers are responding to a call about shots fired in the area. They have found the victim on the ground with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and two gunshot wounds to the right leg. He is being transported to the hospital in critical condition.
