One Person Dead And One Person Injured In A Shooting In Chicago Illinois
Police are scouring the area for evidence and placing evidence markers at the crime scene where one person is dead and another is injured following a shooting in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on May 1, 2024. On the 6600 block of S. Blackstone at approximately 4:48 p.m., Wednesday afternoon, a 29-year-old male victim and a 33-year-old male victim were on the sidewalk when they both sustained gunshot wounds from an unknown suspect. The 29-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and the left leg and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
