One Person Dead And One Person Injured In A Shooting In Chicago Illinois
Police are investigating a shooting in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on May 1, 2024. The incident occurred on the 6600 block of S. Blackstone at approximately 4:48 p.m., Wednesday afternoon, where a 29-year-old male victim and a 33-year-old male victim were on the sidewalk and both sustained gunshot wounds from an unknown suspect. The 29-year-old victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach and the left leg, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 33-year-old victim, who sustained a graze wound to the left arm, is being transported to the hospital in good condition. A shell casing has been discovered at the crime scene.
