Pro-Palestinian Protesters In Amsterdam, Netherlands

Protesters are rallying at a pro-Palestinian demonstration that started from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Students and supporters are currently shouting slogans for a ceasefire, ''Free Palestine,'' and ''Hands off Rafah,'' while holding banners with similar messages. Thousands are participating in the demonstration, marching through the streets and heading towards the city center of Amsterdam. The march is set to conclude at the UvA's administrative center, Maagdenhuis, at Spui. Riot police with mobile units and dogs are intervening, leading to escalating clashes between students and police officers. The protest is concluding with a silent sit-in.
