At approximately 12:29 a.m., Saturday morning, police are responding to the 3200 block of W. Irving Park Rd. A 42-year-old male victim is being involved in a verbal altercation with an unidentified male suspect who is showing a firearm and shooting the victim before fleeing. The victim is sustaining one gunshot wound to the abdomen and hand and is being transported to the hospital where he is being listed in fair condition.
